Steve Martin- Phone Bit

Go ahead make the joke, "wait your Steve Martin?" I've been getting it my whole life everytime roll was called in school or someone checks my ID. Frankly I don't mind at all except that I have to suffer through some real lame jokes. Example, "hey are you a wild and crazy guy?" My usual reply is a straight face.... "yes." Insert uncomfortable silence here _. Luckily I've always been a huge fan of Mr. Martin. At least I don't share my name with a "no talent ass clown" like Michael Bolton. ha

That being said I just started reading Steve Martin's book-
Born Standing Up: A Comic's Life.

So far it's great! Really funny & insightful. Anyhow it reminded me of this old bit he did on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. It's freaking awesome! Johnny almost dies! haha
