Nhhmbase

Nhhmbase, a 4 piece out of Tokyo have been putting out music since 06. There first mini album was released through & Records (her space holiday, dntel, i am robot & proud) & since than have released 2 albums. 9/8 time is off there 1st offering. Nothing new here, just thought I share some music from one of the more interesting bands out Japan. + the video is pretty rad. They sort of remind me of LA's El Ten Eleven, with the exception of the vocals & I get a bit more of an aggressive swagger from Nhhmbase. The band has seen a makeover as 3 mates have called it quits & Mamoru the last original member has started over with some new friends. I really can't go more than a few months without digging this one out & playing loud in the phones. It always make me wanna hop on my skateboard & take a cruise. As a matter of fact, this song was responsible for me eating shit in front of the South Pasadena high school marching band. I was on my board blasting 9/8 time in the phones when I completely tuned out & my wheels got snagged in a branch. Sweet! Anyhow enjoy>> Oh yeah it's pronounced “ne-han base."
