Stop sleeping on Juice Aleem. I know this came out back in August, but since I've been off the air for the last couple of weeks I've been dipping back into some recent releases that I had to sort of rush through. Some of you may know him from his work with New Flesh, Gamma, Coldcut, Hexstatic, Evil 9 and on and on. A Big Dada staple, he's always been one of my favorite Mc's & is regarded as one of the Uk's finest. It's hard to believe this is his debut record since it seems like the man has been around for a minute now. Ever since I picked up that New Flesh 12" at Beat Non Stop waaayy back in the day , I've been itching for more Juice. Finally after 10 years we are rewarded with Jerusalaam Come. Largeley produced by Blackitude, (gamma/shadowless) Jerusalaam Come is a nice chunk of Blackitudes typical shadowless brand of boom's bap's. Freshness! "Who Is He" is one of my favorites off the LP, stutter stop & go production & delivery from both Jucie & Blackitude. Bump it, and pick it up at your local shop.
